i have no working experience in IT. if i get a JAVA programming certificate, how likely that i can land on an entry level programming job? i intend to work in australia.

I am in a intro java programming class and we are told to write a program that calculates how much it would cost to paint a room given the height, width and length and the type of paint. I know how to prompt the user for the length, height and width values but I don’t know how to prompt the user for a type of paint: deluxe or standard since they both have different prices. If possible I need a simple answer because we have just started on variables and declarations.
